Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! I know my day has been productive so far. Woke up this morning in much better spirits then yesterday and decided to head out for a 10 miler. It doesn't help that I started at 10am... although I'm sure it was hotter else where in the US, it was warm and once I got going, it was HOT. 

10 miles later, took a quick shower and packed up the car to head to the state park for the beach. Well, that was poorly thought out! Sooooooo many people and quite the line to get in. We decided against that idea, drove home and hit the pool. Swam a 1/2 mile and jumped off the diving board a few times to give people something to laugh out. = )

Headed out now to see what is going on - hopefully catch some fireworks and make tonight a good memory. Hope everyone else is doing the same!
