The search continues

So, the search continues. The place I put my second bid on came back with a counter offer. The counter offer was way more then I was willing to pay, so I countered back with my final offer. Friday night when my agent called me back to tell me the woman declined that offer as well she mentioned that the sellers agent was upset. Upset with the fact the lady got two really solid offers on her house from me, but wouldn’t budge. He knows she won’t get near what she wants for her property and told my agent he will continue to work on her to get her to accept it. However, she has only had it on the market for a little over a month. Her hopes may still be high… The other 3^rd floor condo in the building next door has been for sale for 122 days… therefore, I know that place will still be around in another month and a half. I’ll go back then, if it still is and put in another offer.

In the meantime, today I’m headed to check out another one for a second time and hopefully another one we haven’t seen yet. I guess it’s great that I’ve got things narrowed down to the area I want to be in… now it’s just finding the actual person to take my offer on a place I like. Then hope and pray that nothing goes wrong with the inspection and appraisal. What a process.
