Garmin Forerunner 310XT - Review

I guess everyone writes a review for their newest toys... at least to let the world know whether dropping the cash on it is worth it. From a running standpoint, this does the trick. Very VERY similar to my 405, only layout is different. Thankfully, Garmin has made an application for Mac's. It's not the best, but makes uploading data so much easier. I took some snap shots of my first run with the little guy. Tomorrow I'll be taking it for it's first open water swim! It has a vibrating/beep feature which is new. It's nice if you don't want the whole world hearing your interval... The square shape also fits on my little wrist better. Not so clunky. Can't wait to see the first trendsetter in Columbia Mall actually rockin this thing as a watch.

My dad is acquiring my 405 and I think he's going to love it! (That's right Dad, if you're reading this, you are going to LOVE it!) Of course, I'll have to hold a little tutoring session, but I'm sure he'll learn it fast.

The first upload - favorite feature - the map upload!

Elevation Measurements

HR Data.

I've never been one for HR training, but I'm interested in learning. This data is all based off an 4:1 interval run. I've been doing this more to help get my knees through the torture = ) I also find, it doesn't change too much of my time when I'm hustling on the walk. I think in the long run, it will help achieve those PR's. So far I give this: ★★★★★
