Off Kilter

After Pittsburgh, I decided I'd take a little break. Which turned into a run once a week type of break. I would bike another night and swim two nights, but I wasn't happy with dropping out to running 1x a week. Thursday morning, I got up at 5 to run a 3.4 mile loop in the neighborhood. This morning, I ran the Iron Girl route for the first time with the team.

After lunch, I dropped by Joe and Sandy's! They were the people who set me up with my Pittsburgh Training session. I need to get back into a routine, with a schedule. If I have to follow something, I'm more likely to stick. So, I begin the road back to working up mileage. This morning I did a total of 6.2. I need to be up to 10 soon. Next Marathon - Wineglass in upstate NY, October. I can't wait.

I am having the same problem since running the Country Music Half. I need that big race looming ahead I think. It has gotten very easy to say "I'll just run or work out tomorrow."
