Tomorrow I'm sure I will pay. I may have to spend an hour on the eliptical, or maybe a nice 5 mile run, but every bite was totally worth it!

My Christmas gift
Tonight I cashed in my Christmas gift from Scott. Well, one of them. An ultimate dinner at The Melting Pot. What a delight! I get excited from the time we make the reservation up until when we are finished eating. For the first time ever, we tried the Big Night Out. We had Sam Adams Cheese for starters, followed by: marinated chicken, filet, salmon, shrimp, lobster, pork tenderloin and spinach ravioli. For dessert - S'Mores chocolate fondue - chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallow all melted together with banana's, strawberry, rice crispy treats, marshmallows coated in cookie crumbs, cheesecake, brownies and pound cake. What an awesome meal. We even splurged and got a bottle of wine. The nice thing about the Melting Pot is if you don't finish the wine, they put it in a sealed bag and you can take it home. Everything is perfectly portioned, except you still leave felling STUFFED! What a great Christmas surprise!

What a fun gift for the two of you. Sometimes you just need to indulge yourself a bit. I have heard great things about that chain. Need to try it. Headed out for five miles myself this afternoon. Have a Happy New Year. Art
